Steve Siegel
Chairman
Steve Siegel is the Chairman of Andera, the founder of Coney Island Ventures, and a co-founder of Building2 Investments, a venture capital company with offices in Tokyo, Hawaii, and Providence. He also co-founded and served on the Board of Directors of FSJ, an Information Technology firm with offices in Boston and Tokyo. That firm grew to 150 employees and was sold to IMRglobal (since acquired by CGI).
Prior to FSJ, Steve ran the U.S. business for Fusion Systems Group, which reached 77th on the Inc. Magazine list of 500 fastest growing companies. He serves on a number of other boards including The Glimpse Foundation and Slater Interactive (a private equity firm). In addition, he is President of the Board of Advisors of the Brown University Entrepreneurship Program. Steve was an advisor to Simpli.com which was acquired by NetZero. He has judged a number of business plan competitions including the Brown University Elevator Speech Competition, the Brown University New Venture competition, and the Bryant College Best Idea Challenge.
Steve has a B.S. from Brooklyn College, an M.S. from Brown University, and a Ph.D. from Brown University.
Charlie Kroll (Charlie's Blog)
President & CEO
Charlie Kroll founded Andera with the vision of helping clients leverage Web-based technology as a tool for sales and growth. Today, that vision is keenly focused on fundamentally improving the way financial institutions acquire customers.
As CEO, Kroll is responsible for driving the company's growth through innovation, alliances, and an unyielding commitment to unanimous client satisfaction. He is a frequent speaker at bank and credit union conferences nationwide, and serves on the boards of the Brown Entrepreneurship Program, the YMCA of Greater Providence, and the Brown University Community Council. He was a finalist for the 2009 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in New England, and was named 2006 New England Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the United States Small Business Administration (SBA). He is active in industry affairs, and currently serves as Chairman of the e-Financial Enablers Council, a roundtable of Internet banking and payments executives. Prior to founding Andera, Kroll worked for Morgan Stanley in their New York and London offices.
Kroll received an A.B. from Brown University and a General Course Degree from the London School of Economics & Political Science.
Craig Wilke
Vice President of Products
As Vice President of Products, Craig Wilke is responsible for the design, functionality, and improvement of Andera's account opening solutions with a focus on innovation, user experience, and customer needs.
Prior to joining Andera, Wilke worked in senior consulting roles for AGENCY.COM and Quadris Consulting. In these positions, he worked with clients that included Fidelity Investments, Liberty Mutual, Instinet, and Salomon Brothers to implement both client-server and J2EE software solutions.
Wilke has an A.B. in computer science from Harvard University.
Kevin Conway
Vice President of Sales & Business Development
As VP of Sales & Business Development, Kevin Conway is responsible for developing and managing Andera's strategic partnership and alliance initiatives as well as driving the company's overall sales efforts and strategy.
Conway joins Andera with over 10 years of business development and sales experience in the financial services and technology markets. Prior to joining Andera, Conway was Director of Channel Partners for eFunds where he developed and led the partnership program for the financial institution risk management business line. In this position Conway managed the channel sales team, generated new client sales, negotiated partner contracts and implemented solutions with key strategic organizations in the financial services industry including Fidelity, Fiserv, Bisys, Harland, Jack Henry, and Symitar, among others.
Prior to joining eFunds, Conway spent over four years with CheckFree, where he played an integral part in building and managing their channel sales organization. He also has extensive sales and sales management experience with companies such as Ingram Micro and Valtron Technologies in both sales and business development functions. Kevin Conway holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Arizona.
Keith Roberts
Vice President of Operations
As Vice President of Operations, Keith Roberts is responsible for Implementation, Support, Information Security, and Hosting Operations at Andera.
Keith joins Andera with over 10 years of experience in IT and Operations in the financial services and technology markets. Prior to joining Andera, Keith spent eight years working for Tuition Management Systems (TMS), an education financing company in Warwick, RI, now a division of Key Bank. Keith was the Vice President of Information Services, and was responsible for Product Development, Enterprise Architecture, Network Operations, Support Services, and Quality Assurance. Over the last several years he led initiatives spanning corporate information security and compliance, VoIP for call center, self-service initiatives (speech recognition and web applications), corporate data center design, build, and relocation, and product development.
Prior to joining TMS Keith worked for a start-up technology consulting firm before becoming an independent consultant for financial services and the communications industries. Keith holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Computer Information Systems from Bryant University.
Chris Burns
Chief Financial Officer
Chris Burns is Andera’s Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, he is responsible for managing the company’s financial growth and driving all accounting and administrative operations for Andera, in addition to being a key member of the management team. Chris brings 20 years of experience and demonstrated leadership in the areas of accounting, finance, and operations for both private and public technology-related firms.
Prior to joining Andera, Chris held the CFO position at Retail Solutions, a venture-backed SaaS company, where he was responsible for all finance, accounting and administrative functions. As CFO of Retail Solutions he played a strategic role in the successful sale of the company to VeriSign. Chris also served as CFO for Kaon Interactive, a venture-backed technology company and eBT International, a publicly traded Web content software company.
Chris earned a BS in Business Administration from Northeastern University and he holds a MBA from Bryant University.
